Sechsfeldbrücke Oberlauchringen
The Oberlauchringen Six-Span Bridge, which crosses the Wutach river and the mill canal, was founded on large-diameter bored piles with a 1.20 m diameter; the abutments are shallow-founded.
For the construction of the pile caps, watertight sheet pile cofferdams with two bracing layers and an underwater concrete base were used. The bridge piers reach a height of up to 11 m.
In the Wutach floodplain area, an elaborate falsework foundation was used. The supporting structure of the superstructure is a two-webbed prestressed concrete slab girder over 6 spans. The span lengths along the gradient are 27.50 – 42.55 – 27.65 – 27.65 – 31.35 – 29.30 m. The webs of the superstructure over the Wutach are haunched. The structure is supported according to the principle of a semi-integral bridge and features caps with an attached visual barrier.
